For the angle and notch solvers, unmeasured straight legs are visualization extensions, not calculated stock requirements. Only the displayed measurement results are solved from your inputs.

Ideal geometric solver. Excludes kerf, bend radius, material allowance and connection specifications. Reference-product modes remain separately under review.

Measure the actual triangle

Rise is the vertical difference of the two base levels. Reach is the horizontal projection of the sloped portion only; exclude the straight lead and tail.

Equations and example

Angle θ = atan2(rise, reach), converted to degrees. Sloped length = √(rise² + reach²). With a 300 mm rise and 400 mm reach, θ = 36.87° and the sloped length is 500 mm.

Supported geometry

The offset fabrication model supports angles from 10° to 60°. Width and side height define its cross-section.
